Volunteers: Keep tuition
affordable, allow parent involvemet in school activities,
build upon the Holy Trinity community spirit and are
vital to the schools operations.
Code of Conduct
Per the Diocese of Fall River, each person coming
into contact with the children of the Diocese must
sign a Code
of Conduct.
Volunteer Opportunities
1. Morning Drop Off (8:00 - 8:30 AM)
Two to three adults are required to assist in opening
car doors to facilitate the process of dropping students
at the front entrance of the school assuring smooth
traffic flow and safety of the students.
2. Afternoon Pick Up (2:15 – 2:45 PM)
Two to three adults are required to escort students
to cars and assist them in getting into the car assuring
smooth traffic flow and safety of the students.
3. Lunch Time Recess and lunch room monitors(11:15
AM – 12:50 PM)
Four adults are required to aid the teacher on duty
in monitoring the students on the playground to assure
safe recreation and to aid the teacher on duty in
providing assistance to the younger students, to assure
good lunchroom behavior and to oversee clean up.
We ask that small children/siblings not accompany
the adult volunteer for this position.
4. Pizza Servers (Friday 11:00 AM to 12:30
PM)
Three adults are required to setup, collect money,
and serve pizza. We can also assign the times for
each individual grade if that would make things easier.
5. Gym Bus Monitors with days and times to
be announced
Two adults are required to escort the students on
the bus, which brings the students to the summer church
from Holy Trinity School for gym class. Monitors are
required to remain at the gym to aid the teacher in
assuring safety and compliance with the rules.
6. Library Assistants (schedule should be
arranged with librarian)
Two adults per grade to aid in the operation and use
of the school library.
7. Weekly Correspondence Envelope (Tuesday
afternoon)
Two adults are required to stuff
the weekly correspondence envelopes at the school8.
Snack provision for after school program (once a month
during school year)
Adults to provide snacks and drinks for the students
in the after school program. We would like to have
enough people so that each person would only have
to send in snacks and drinks once a month.
Fundraising
a. Golf Tournament
Several adults are required to assist in the planning
and preparation of the annual golf tournament.
b. Holy Trinity Church Fundraisers
Many times during the year Father Healy will be holding
joint fundraisers between the church and the school.
Volunteers will be needed for a variety of tasks,
and often times we will need a high number of volunteers.
c. Bake Sale Assistants (a Saturday &
Sunday in November before Thanksgiving)
Several adults are required to serve as sales staff
at the annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale held in the church
hall after the Saturday and Sunday masses on the weekend
just before Thanksgiving. All families are asked to
provide baked goods.
d. Auction
Several adults are needed to coordinate donations,
assist in the planning and preparation for the auction
and oversee the event from start to finish, date TBA.9.
Annual School Picnic
A school picnic is held annually for the purpose of
welcoming new families and for all Holy Trinity students,
families, faculty and staff to get together at an
informal recreational venue. Several adults are required
to assist in coordinating the event. Please see enclosed
sheet for details.
10. Halloween Party
Help plan and organize annual Halloween party.
11. Wellfleet Audubon Coordinator
One Adult to organize the Audubon school visits and
field trips.
